I decided to update my MLX90640 Thermal Imaging Camera for use with a CYD (Cheap Yellow Display). The use of the CYD should really simplify the project as all you need to do is solder a 4 pin plug wired to the MLX90640. However I got the blue and yellow wires swapped, so I swapped them at the connector to match.
Then I thought I would use my old software but I found a much better program to use with the CYD. It offeres many more feature and the ability to change settings on the fly.

I hope to design and print a case to match. That would likely just be a new back cover for my esisting CYD case design.
Here is someone elses wiring diagram: I used 2.2K resistors soldered on the MLX90640 circuit board. Dont forget to bridge the I2C jumper too!
